The incident occurred on Monday, July 9, after 11:00 a.m. Three vehicles collided at the intersection of Cieszkowskiego Street and Modłowa Street in Bolesławiec: two Peugeot passenger cars and a Scania truck. The fire service, police and ambulance service were at the scene.
Firefighters pulled the woman trapped in one of the passenger cars out of the vehicle. She was taken to hospital. (The other two drivers were unharmed.)
It is already known that the collision was caused by a 68-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County. The Peugeot driver failed to give way to the Scania driver, a 35-year-old from Lubusz Voivodeship. A collision occurred, as a result of which the passenger car bounced off the truck and hit another Peugeot. The latter was driven by a 69-year-old from Bolesławiec.
The woman responsible for the collision was fined PLN 500.
