On Wednesday, July 4—a day of very intensive work for our firefighters, as we described in the article Combine harvester fire in Gościszów and 10 other interventions by the fire service—the firefighters from Ochotnicza Straż Pożarna in Nowogrodziec were dispatched to a fire in wasteland in Gierałtów. This is how they described the operation on their Facebook profile:
Once again, the cause of the fire was the deliberate burning of waste dumped in the forest.
They added:
There are no words to describe such behavior by residents of our municipality.
