Despite the football off-season, plenty is happening regarding football in the Nowogrodziec Municipality. Portal jg24.pl reported that the board of the Parzyce Sports Association decided to dissolve the association during its most recent meeting. This is sad news for the club’s supporters. It means that no matches will be played in Parzyce in the near future—not even B-class fixtures. Earlier, in March this year, the club withdrew its senior team from the regional league competition.

Interesting information is coming from Nowogrodziec itself. The local Chrobry, which won promotion to the regional league, will have a new coach. Zbigniew Grzybowski is expected to be replaced by Jakub Wołyński. We have learned that talks with a candidate for the new coach position are under way.

Jakub Wołyński is the Head of the Physical Education and Sports Section of the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment in Bolesławiec, holding the rank of major; he is also one of the coaches of the 11th Lubusz Armoured Cavalry Division team, which recently won the Polish Military Championship, as well as one of the coaches of the Polish Military Team. Previously, he was a youth player and footballer for BKS Bolesławiec. He was also a player-coach of Twardy Świętoszów, with whom he won promotion to the third league.
