The incident occurred on Thursday, June 28, after 6:00 p.m., near the municipal cemetery in Bolesławiec. Three passenger cars collided: an Audi, a Nissan and a Renault.
It is already known that the driver of the latter vehicle, a 21-year-old from Miasto Ceramiki, failed to exercise due caution when joining the traffic and hit an Audi that was traveling correctly and was driven by a resident of Żagań (Lubusz Voivodeship). As a result of the collision, the Audi crossed into the opposite lane and collided with a Nissan driven by another Bolesławiec resident.
Two people were taken to hospital with serious injuries: the Renault driver and the Nissan passenger. All those involved in the incident were sober.
