On Wednesday, 11 March, officers from the traffic police section conducted the “Truck” operation. The officers inspected 134 vehicles, including buses, vans and trucks. The officers seized 63 registration certificates (due to the poor technical condition of the vehicles) and issued 76 fines (including 19 for speeding).
In recent years, the number of accidents involving buses and trucks has risen sharply. The preventive “Truck” operation is intended to improve the safety of road users.
