Lieutenant Colonel Matthew Rogers of the 91st Engineer Battalion visited Bolesławiec City Hall with Lt. Col. Jessem T. Currym, who had commanded in Bolesławiec for the past several months the soldiers who arrived from the base at Fort Riley, Kansas.
The next rotation of soldiers—as part of the rotational presence of American troops in the region—is from Texas. Mayor Piotr Roman introduced the new commander to the city’s rich history and traditions, its economic situation, and opportunities for spending free time in Bolesławiec and the surrounding area.
