The incident occurred on Monday, June 11, at around 12:00 p.m. at the exit from the motorway in Godzieszów. The Border Guard prepared an ambush for the driver of a Ford Focus. The officers deployed a road spike strip, which the driver ran over. Armed officers ran toward the man, who had managed to get out of the car and was trying to escape.
The entire operation went smoothly, and no one was injured.
It was a training exercise for border guards, which often takes place in that area. See for yourselves in the video.
