The incident occurred at the end of January this year. The 50-year-old resident of Wartowice, driven by jealousy, stabbed his sister-in-law several times. The man flew into a rage because, after her husband’s death, the woman began seeing someone.
Doctors placed the injured woman in a medically induced coma. The patient was woken after approximately three weeks. After leaving the hospital, she gave her testimony.
The court remanded the knife attacker in custody for three months. The man is awaiting trial in the Lubań detention centre. He could face life imprisonment.
