A little history
Lwówek Town Hall was formerly the seat of the city authorities and the court. Today, it hosts cultural events such as exhibitions, conferences and concerts. It is also a place where city authorities meet with residents. However, the Town Hall interiors are known from history as a center of social life. From 1960 to 1990, they housed the unforgettable “Rycerska” Café. In times gone by, the venue offered excellent cuisine in a representative building. It hosted celebrations for workplaces, Christmas parties for children and dance evenings that became legendary. To this day, the golden years of Rycerska are remembered not only by local residents, but also by people from all over Poland who had the opportunity to visit it. Lwówek Śląski was known throughout the country for brewing and the “Rycerska” Café.
