The incident occurred during the night of 6–7 June, before 4:00 a.m., on the A18 road near the village of Ławszowa (Osiecznica municipality). The driver of a Škoda, a resident of Ostrow Wielkopolski, lost control of the vehicle on a straight section of the road. The car left the road, entered a roadside ditch and overturned.
Two people were injured: the 34-year-old driver and a 37-year-old passenger from Wrocław. Both were taken to hospital.
The Škoda driver was sober. Police are investigating the causes of the incident.
