In the coming season, we have once again prepared an offer for children aged 6 to 12 who are not going away but want to spend their time actively.
This year, we are offering two day-camp programs:
Sailing day camps
Our day camps are a wonderful beginning to an adventure with sailing. Every day brings great outdoor fun, new friendships and memories for a lifetime. Has your child never been on a sailboat before? No problem—the day camps will give all interested children the opportunity to become calmly and thoroughly acquainted with sailing equipment.
The aim of the day camps is to learn and improve sailing skills in Optimist-class boats. Optimists are the world’s most popular yacht class; these sailboats are very safe, and all on-water activities take place in life jackets. A motorboat with a qualified coach-instructor provides safety cover for the sailing boats. In addition to Optimists, we sail Cadets and Omegas.
Classes are held for beginners and advanced participants. Our training program was created based on our previous experience working with children and providing sailing instruction. In addition to learning to sail, children discover sailing customs and maritime ceremony.
Water sports day camps
The aim of this day camp is to introduce children to outdoor activities with a focus on water sports. The program includes discovering water sports such as sailing, kayaking and powerboating, as well as learning water-safety principles. The activities are interspersed with land-based activities, outdoor games and shanties.
Our day camps meet all requirements for children’s summer recreation and have been registered with the Education Authority. The staff consists of sailing instructors, lifeguards and teachers. Participants: children aged 6 to 12.
