What makes our day camps stand out?
We have been operating on the Polish market for over 15 years, teaching children in several dozen cities across Poland. During this time, we have tested a huge number of our programs and concepts, creating courses and day camps that maximally engage children, provide them with fun and, importantly, teach key digital skills and competencies.
Our twojrobot.pl day camps are prepared by a team of educators, engineers and people experienced in designing activities for children. We also use the best educational kits and tools.
In addition to carefully preparing the day-camp program and selecting the best workshops, we also place great emphasis on training the instructors who later lead the day camps. We focus on a young team full of passion and very familiar with the digital world
We also cooperate with institutions such as Gmina Osiecznica, Gmina Gromadka, non-public educational institutions in and around the city of Bolesławiec, WRO Polska, SpaceShip and Warsaw University of Technology, where we jointly organize robot sumo competitions for children. In addition, our participants take part in various robot competitions and tournaments organized throughout Poland, and we can boast students who compete even with engineering students!
Methodology
Our day camps are designed so that children can spend their summer in the city actively and interestingly! We focus on day camps held locally and characterized by diverse and engaging activities.
Our goal is for the day camps to show children the digital world in a safe, engaging and effective way while demonstrating the value of education. That is why every day camp offers robotics or programming workshops in Minecraft, Scratch, Roblox, AppInventor and other platforms. Depending on the day-camp theme, there may be more or fewer of these workshops.
Every activity at Wallie’s School is a separate project to complete, so that children learn a project-based approach and remain highly motivated to participate and learn. With each project, we arrive at solutions to the tasks through brainstorming. We strive to ensure that children remain open and share their ideas and solutions courageously; as we know, each of them is good in its own way!
At our day camps, we encourage children to work in teams and thereby acquire teamwork skills, which are essential for all kinds of future projects. We also emphasize learning through observation and making mistakes. During activities, we do not strive for perfection, but for as many attempts as possible, thanks to which children quickly draw conclusions and learn consistency, perseverance and observation. Education through experimentation is considered one of the most effective methods.
