Grupa Pościgowa wins the MAUPa Puzzle Assembly Marathon

Grupa Pościgowa won the fourth edition of the “MAUPa” Puzzle Assembly Marathon. After two consecutive victories, Paweł Wilas’s team had to acknowledge the superiority of their rivals.

On Saturday, February 28, the Fourth “MAUPa” Puzzle Assembly Marathon was held in the hall of the Municipal Cultural and Sports Centre in Bolesławiec, based in Kruszyn. This year, Grupa Pościgowa proved to be the best, dethroning Paweł Wilas’s team, the winners of the competition for the past two years (this year, the defending champions competed under the telling name Do Trzech Razy Sztuka).

The winners took part in the following line-up: Bożena Wieczorek, Karolina Wieczorek, Agnieszka Kołodziej and Irmina Małkowicz. Do Trzech Razy Sztuka came second (with: Agnieszka Calów, Aleksandra Forys, Paweł Wilas and Grzegorz Baszczyj), while Dream Team came third (Teresa Mularczyk, Weronika Pawlikowska, Brygida Laudani and Marzena Miler).

“I dreamed up this event,” recalls Beata Widera from GOKiS Bolesławiec, based in Kruszyn, the person who conceived and organised the competition. “Besides, many people around me love puzzles. There are a great many puzzle enthusiasts in our county,” she adds.

Five teams from across Bolesławiec County took part in the Fourth “MAUPa” Puzzle Assembly Marathon. The event ended at around 3:00 a.m.
