After their latest away defeat to Olimpia Sulęcin, the TOP players entered the match hoping to secure a victory. The first set began promisingly. TOP had the advantage and led 5:2 at the start of the set. Unfortunately, the lead lasted only until the 18th point scored by the volleyball players from Bolesławiec. The team from Świnoujście levelled the score at 18:18, and from that moment on dictated the conditions on the court. The first set had a dramatic and thrilling finish. With Maraton leading 23:22, the visitors' coach called a timeout. The break proved effective for the visitors, as the set ended with their 25:23 victory.

In the second and third sets, the TOP team gave the impression that it was playing its first match. The Bolesławiec players never managed to establish a points lead. The players made errors in succession. Mistakes in receiving the ball, hitting the antenna several times, and errors in setting meant that the visitors recognised their technical advantage and dictated the conditions until the end of the match. TOP lost the second set 14:25.

Patryk Baran performed well for TOP. Patryk's accurate sets and powerful attacks meant that TOP lost the third set by only five points, 20:25. TOP Bolesławiec ultimately lost to Maraton Świnoujście 0:3 in sets and remains in last place in the II-league volleyball standings.
