The exhibition aims to introduce Poles to the profiles of veterans who fought for the independence and security of their homeland. We are celebrating the 100th anniversary of regaining independence thanks to the heroism of soldiers and insurgents who fought during the First World War, the Greater Poland Uprising, the Silesian Uprisings, the Polish–Bolshevik War, the September Campaign of 1939, the Warsaw Uprising and on all fronts of the Second World War; the heroism of the Cursed Soldiers, as well as veterans of missions under the auspices of the UN, NATO, the EU, the OSCE and international commissions.
The exhibition can be viewed until Monday, 21 May 2018. in front of the Bolesławiec City Hall building (office building), Marszałka Józefa Piłsudskiego Square.
