How can you check whether your PESEL number is included in the entry?

Find your entry in the entrepreneurs’ database and check the entry history to see whether you submitted any applications after 1 January 2012. If so, you have already added your PESEL number and do not need to do anything.

If you did not submit any applications after 1 January 2012, find your entry in the entrepreneurs’ database and check whether, under the business status, there is a notification stating “the entry did not pass verification; reason: missing PESEL number.” If there is, go to any municipal office to complete your details.

Can’t find your entry, or have you not submitted any applications through CEIDG? Go to any municipal office, where an official will locate your entry and check whether it contains your PESEL number. If it does not, they will immediately accept an application from you to amend the entry, in which you can complete the missing information.

What if you fail to add your PESEL number by 19 May 2018 and the entry is deleted ex officio? You will be able to apply to the Minister of Entrepreneurship and Technology to restore the entry and add the missing information.

The letter must be sent to the Department of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises at the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Technology:
