Fans in Brzeźnik watched a hard-fought match on Sunday. The hosts welcomed the Group III Jelenia Góra Class A table leaders, Chrobry Nowogrodziec. The visitors started the match better. In the opening minutes, the hosts’ goalkeeper had to save his team by clearing the ball for a corner. Chrobry threatened Brzeźnik’s goal time and again, but the home side defended well. They finally conceded in the 40th minute. That was when Sebastian Tkacz took advantage of a goalmouth scramble to make it 1–0. Just before halftime, in the 45th minute, Chrobry extended their lead to 2–0. Robert Zarzycki added his name to the scoresheet after making no mistake in a one-on-one with the goalkeeper.

It might have seemed that the table leaders would press on and that more goals were only a matter of time. However, that did not happen. Brzeźnik, fighting ambitiously, scored a goal to get back into the match in the 70th minute. It was scored by Sylwester Drozd, who, left unmarked in the penalty area, calmly placed the ball in the net. Both teams had their chances until the end, but only the hosts converted one of them. Reliable Krystian Miżdal brought the scores level. It was the 85th minute. The score did not change before the final whistle, although with a little luck the hosts could have won the match. LZS Brzeźnik – Chrobry Nowogrodziec 2–2 (0–2).
