As we read on the website of Komendy Powiatowej Państwowej Straży Pożarnej w Bolesławcu:
Two scenarios were planned: a pile-up involving several vehicles and a car in a river.
PSP and OSP units took part, along with cooperating services—emergency medical teams, the police, the Polish Medical Air Rescue service, and a unit from the Jednostka Ratownictwa Górniczo-Hutniczego.
From our Jednostka Ratowniczo-Gaśnicza, units belonging to the Specialist Technical Rescue Group “Bolesławiec” were involved, as was the command and communications unit designated to participate in the work of the exercise staff.
The firefighters add:
The Bolesławiec technical group took part in all the scenarios. In the first scenario, they gained access to injured people inside vehicles involved in the pile-up. In the second scenario, our group was tasked with pulling a car out of the river.
The exercises were organized by the Lower Silesian Voivodeship Office, the Wrocław branch of the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways, and the Provincial Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Wrocław.
