The incident occurred on Tuesday (April 24) on Cieszkowskiego Street, near the roundabout. The 65-year-old cyclist was riding on a cycle path and claims she was forced to brake suddenly by a driver who was turning off the main road onto the premises of a nearby company and cut across her path. As a result of the braking, the woman fell and was taken to hospital.
The car driver, in turn, claims that he did not see the woman on the bicycle at all. In addition, there was no contact between the bicycle and the car. However, the woman maintains that she was frightened by the vehicle and consequently fell. The police are determining the details of the incident. Further interviews will be conducted in the case.
