During the April session of the Bolesławiec City Council, the Mayor of the City of Ceramics spoke about the matter. The official informed the councillors that he had received information from Lidia Markowska, head of the Wrocław branch of the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways, that the reconstruction of the transport layout on Zgorzelecka–Generała Nila Street (formerly: II Armii Wojska Polskiego Street) would finally begin. A detailed schedule of activities is already in place.
The project involves reconstructing the roundabout at Zgorzelecka Street, which will be enlarged, building two parallel bridges and constructing another roundabout on the other side of the river. Work is scheduled to begin in 2020. The investment is worth more than PLN 42 million.
