The Road Traffic Safety Bureau has begun work on a draft proposal under which older people will have to undergo mandatory examinations. As we read on the Radio Zet website:
In many European countries, older drivers have to undergo mandatory examinations. The situation is different in Poland. Those who obtained a lifetime driving licence even several decades ago do not have to attend any medical check-ups. The Ministry of Infrastructure has decided to change this and has begun various campaigns aimed at encouraging older motorists to undergo examinations.
What do you think? (We know that this idea has many supporters among our readers.) A good idea? We invite you to join the discussion.
