On Friday, April 13, after 7 p.m., officers from the Independent Police Prevention Subunit in Legnica, while patrolling the Lubin municipality, noticed a man driving an agricultural tractor in one of the villages. The man's driving indicated that he might be under the influence of alcohol.
The test confirmed the officers' suspicions. The 43-year-old was completely drunk; he had nearly 3 per mille of alcohol in his system. What's more, it turned out that the suspect was subject to a court-imposed ban on driving all motor vehicles.
The 43-year-old could now face up to five years in prison.
