MKS Bolesłavia athletes won five medals at the Indoor Lower Silesian Athletics Championships. Paula Kowalik became a double medallist, winning gold in the long jump and bronze in the high jump.
Ewa Ochocka, competing outside the competition, also performed excellently. Competing against athletes two years older, Małgorzata Markowska’s protégé recorded the best time in the 60 m race and finished second in the long jump.
Bronze medals were also won by Michał Stańczyszyn (in the 1000 m race), Łukasz Rogacki (in the 60 m hurdles) and Beata Dąbal (in the shot put).
