On Thursday, the final meeting of the outgoing council was held. During the meeting, the county governor presented appointment documents to those who will advise him for the next four years.

The new council consists of:

  • Leszek Berny from the Voivodeship Board of the Forum of Trade Unions
  • Andrzej Dutkowski, secretary of the Bolesławiec rural municipality
  • Jerzy Ekiert representing the Guild of Various Crafts
  • Mirosław Habel from the district council of OPZZ
  • Mirosław Haniszewski, head of Warta Bolesławiecka municipality
  • Leokadia Krawiecka, municipal councillor in Gromadka
  • Bogumiła Konecka from the regional Union of Farmers, Farmers' Circles and Agricultural Organizations
  • Ryszard Mach from the Federation of Workers of Western Poland
  • Waldemar Nalazek, head of Osiecznica municipality
  • Henryka Pilna from the municipal council in Nowogrodziec
  • Piotr Roman, mayor of Bolesławiec
  • Jan Skrzypach from NSZZ Solidarność
  • Andrzej Udzielak from the Bolesławiec Economic Society.

During the meeting, the chair and deputy chair of the new council were elected. Mirosław Haniszewski will lead the council for four years, with Piotr Roman as his deputy.

The District Employment Council is an advisory body to the Bolesławiec county governor. Among other things, council members issue opinions on applications from upper-secondary schools to establish new fields of study and have a significant influence on the financial policy of the District Labour Office. The council's term lasts four years.
