We asked the head of Przedsiębiorstwo Wodociągów i Kanalizacji w Bolesławcu what is happening with the fountain in Bolesławiec’s Market Square. “An improvement renovation is under way. Contrary to appearances, a fountain is quite a complicated device; after several years of operation, it requires renovation and maintenance,” istotne.pl Józef Król, president of PWiK, told the service. And he assures us: “Everything will be properly done; the water pumps and all the nozzles, together with the LED-lit spotlights, will be replaced. These devices will be of a new generation—more efficient and economical. We will also reinforce some sections supporting the granite slabs.”
“The fountain will be working in May, and even better than before,” adds J. Król.
Let us remind you. Thanks to Ceramika Artystyczna – Spółdzielnia Rękodzieła Artystycznego, you can watch the renovation work progress via our online camera.
