The annual observance of World Autism Awareness Day aims to draw attention to the unacceptable discrimination, abuse and isolation experienced by people with autism and those closest to them. As the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities emphasizes, people with autism are equal before the law and are entitled to all human rights and fundamental freedoms (UN).

As part of this project, the following activities will be held:

  • the school’s décor will turn blue
  • April 9: “Blue in Fashion” – on this day, we wear blue
  • April 11 “The Animated Life” – a film screening for upper-secondary schools (Teatr Stary, 10:00 a.m.). A repeat screening for those interested will take place on April 13 at 3:00 p.m. in the gymnasium of PZSiPS in Bolesławiec, 28/29 Zgorzelecka Street
  • April 12 – workshops for students with autism, “Best Friends with Robotics” (PZSiPS in Bolesławiec, 4:00–5:30 p.m.)
  • April 13 – workshops for students with autism, “Best Friends with Robotics” (PZSiPS in Bolesławiec, 3:00–4:30 p.m.). Registration for the workshops, open until April 10, is handled by project coordinator Anna Pronkiewicz, tel. 602893577. Places are limited!!!
  • April 13 “A Playground in Blue” – drawing with chalk on sports grounds at county, municipal, city and preschool institutions at 10:00 a.m.
