The competition attracts considerable interest every year—primarily among lower-secondary school students from Bolesławiec County and the neighboring counties. In this year’s fifth edition, contestants from Bolesławiec lower-secondary schools No. 1, 2 and 3, as well as from Nowa Wieś and Iwiny, competed against one another.

Young economics enthusiasts compete in two stages:

  • theoretical (solving, in two-person teams, a multiple-choice test on economic issues and themed crosswords)
  • practical—taking part in an economic decision-making game.

It is worth emphasizing that, as every year, the winners can look forward to attractive prizes funded by Bank Zachodni WBK S.A., a long-standing sponsor of school economics initiatives.
