On Saturday (24 March), BKS faced Chrobry Nowogrodziec in a friendly match on an artificial pitch in the Czech Republic. The match ended 2–1 (1–1) in favour of the Bolesławiec team. BKS’s goals were scored by: Adrian Kulesza and Eryk Kliwak. Chrobry’s goal was scored by Bartek Kojder. The teams produced an interesting spectacle. The first goal did not come until the 40th minute. Adrian Kulesza sent the ball into the net. The Bolesławiec striker had been unlucky, having previously hit the post twice. Krystian Smolarek also came close to scoring but narrowly missed. Meanwhile, the Chrobry goalkeeper saved Marek Majka’s header.
The Nowogrodziec team also took several shots, but their efforts did not find the net. They succeeded in the 42nd minute, when Bartek Kojder equalised. The outcome was decided in the 65th minute. Eryk Kliwak shot from 30 metres to make it 2–1. Interestingly, the player had come onto the pitch just moments earlier. There were no more goals in the match, although BKS’s advantage was visible until the final whistle. The team lacked finishing accuracy, however. Chrobry tried to play on the counterattack but could not equalise. BKS Bolesławiec – Chrobry Nowogrodziec 2–1.
