The man who caused a collision on the Wleń–Jelenia Góra road on 13 March was caught with a pistol and ammunition for which he did not have a permit. In his apartment, officers found additional rounds of the same calibre.
As the 38-year-old resident of Pilchowice had already had conflicts with the law, he was taken into police custody. The case of the detained 38-year-old will be handled by the District Court in Lwówek Śląski.
Let us recall. The collision occurred on Tuesday, 13 March, on the Wleń–Jelenia Góra road. As we read on the lwowecki.info:
“The driver of a Mazda, a 38-year-old resident of Pilchowice, failed to exercise due care while driving under the viaduct, cut the corner and collided with a DAF truck driven by a 34-year-old resident of Bolesławiec,” explains Senior Warrant Officer Mateusz Królak, press officer for the Police in Lwówek Śląski, who adds that the police are submitting a request to the court to punish the Mazda driver.
The Mazda driver was taken to hospital. However, he did not suffer any serious injuries. The photos come from the profile of the volunteer firefighters from Wleń.
