BOK-MCC provided excellent facilities—the CIK Orzeł building was where the headquarters operated and the main events on 14 January took place. The head of the headquarters was Michał Szwed, who has many years of experience working with young people and is the manager of Orzeł. The Orchestra’s bank was staffed by three office employees from BOK-MCC. Thanks to this, the money was counted so reliably, and no one worried about anything going wrong. Of course, everyone worked as volunteers.

Officially, the Orchestra finale was an initiative of the Youth City Council, but every teacher knows what is hidden behind the phrase “the young people organized it.” The WOŚP finale is too large an event to be organized and carried out by a dozen or so inexperienced teenagers. The kids performed their assigned tasks excellently, conscientiously and with great commitment. And they deserve great applause for that. In the video summarizing the event, they repeatedly expressed surprise at how much work it had involved and how difficult the task had been. The young people involved in the event certainly learned a great deal from the BOK-MCC staff. They are professionals who have organizing large events down to perfection.

The best thing is that Michał Szwed also managed to enlist our old friend Bolec to promote the Orchestra—Bolec can always, and with great skill, point out the organizational shortcomings of the “BOK people.” During every Ceramics Festival, Bolec obligatorily publishes material in which real journalists describe the organizers’ various “blunders.” During WOŚP, however, there was no shortage of laudatory reports on Bolec. Admittedly, while thanks were being handed out, a girl from the Youth City Council asked Mr Marczewski whether he was from The Bad Bunzlauer, but children do not have to know every journalist in the city.

To sum up: the Youth City Council, serving as a fig leaf, is too small to cover BOK-MCC’s enormous contribution to organizing the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity in Bolesławiec. To those readers who will criticize it for being funded with municipal money, I will say this: BOK-MCC organizes so many church picnics, concerts and events each year that once in a while it can support something that every leftist will praise.
