A reader called the editorial office Reader, informing us that a no-parking sign had been put up on Bielska Street in Bolesławiec, by Primary School No. 2 (formerly Municipal Middle School No. 2). The man added that not only is there nowhere to park in the city, but more and more parking restrictions are also being introduced.
We contacted Agnieszka Gergont, spokesperson for Bolesławiec City Hall, about the matter. She explained that the situation is actually the opposite. The sign that appeared on Bielska Street cancels the no-parking restriction between Cicha Street and Tyrankiewiczów Street. (The downward-pointing arrows beneath the signs in the header photo indicate that the restriction applies only as far as that point.) Thus, it is an improvement for residents, not an impediment.
