Sunday’s derby drew many fans to the ZSHiU sports hall. The game was very even, with both teams fighting for every ball on the court. Neither team managed to build a significant lead throughout the entire match.
The final minutes of the game provided the greatest excitement. One minute before the end, TOP led 56:53, but shortly afterwards Krzysztof Buciak scored two very valuable points. The scoreboard showed 56:55. Five seconds before the end, TOP players committed a foul, and StarBol players brought the ball in from the sideline. Zbigniew Owczarek opted for an individual play and, with a shot right at the final buzzer, secured victory for StarBol.
