The new police car, worth PLN 85,000, is an Opel Mokka. “Thanks to it, safety in the commune will improve,” states asp. szt. Krzysztof Cechner from the Police Station in Warta Bolesławiecka. “We will certainly be able to reach every place in the commune easily with this car.”

Thanks to the new police car, the officers from Warta will have two vehicles at their disposal: an Opel Mokka and a Kia C’eed. The purchase of the latter was also co-financed by the Warta Bolesławiecka Municipality. “This is a sufficient fleet,” adds K. Cechner.

“This will undoubtedly increase the efficiency of our work and contribute to improving the safety of Warta’s residents. Once again, I thank the commune head,” said mł. insp. Dariusz Borski, head of the Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters.

“The commune has adopted the rule that our station receives a new car every four years. And that is what happens,” Mirosław Haniszewski, head of the Warta Bolesławiecka Municipality, emphasized during the ceremony. “For several years, we have also co-financed additional above-standard police services. We intend to expand their scope to include more frequent visits by officers from the Traffic Department. Funds for this purpose will be secured.”
