For task 1 (Sports training for children and young people conducted by sports clubs – Bolesławiec residents aged up to 19–20 who are also students of upper-secondary schools), the City of Bolesławiec allocated PLN 235,000. The most will go to TOP Bolesławiec (PLN 69,000) and BKS Bobrzanie (PLN 59,000).
This year, the Municipal Gmina plans to spend PLN 170,000 on senior training by sports clubs. In this case, the highest subsidy, PLN 46,000, will go—no surprise—to TOP Bolesławiec (table tennis, squash and badminton).
Large sporting events organized in Bolesławiec (with a minimum of 100 competitors) will receive PLN 15,000 in funding from the municipal budget. The largest amount from this pool will go to the Bolesławiec Bridge Club for the 13th Euroregional Sports Bridge Tournament, the 27th Bolesławiec Three-Day Bridge Tournament, the Polish Pairs Grand Prix and the Polish Team Championships (PLN 4,500 in total).
The City Hall plans to spend PLN 55,000 on sports and recreational activities conducted by sports clubs. Once again, the “winner” was TOP Bolesławiec (PLN 12,500).
The city will also support two cultural projects:
- The Scout and Tourist Song Festival organized by the Bolesławiec Scout District named after the Gray Ranks – PLN 2,700
- The 22nd Bolesławiec Christian Culture Days organized by the Roman Catholic Parish of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and Saint Nicholas – PLN 14,000.
