– The project is divided into several stages. This year, we are beginning construction of the pumptrack, skatepark and climbing wall – says Bolesławiec mayor Piotr Roman.
The project will also include ramps; the stairs will be reconstructed, roads around the structures under construction will be paved, and small architectural elements such as bins, benches and bicycle racks will be installed.
The contractor is Park-M Poland from Stary Sącz. The cost of the work is PLN 5,755,567. The funds come from the city budget. Work on developing the area by the Bóbr River for sports and recreational purposes will continue until the end of May 2018.
The next stage of developing the area by the Bóbr River includes a sensory park, volleyball courts, a changing-room building, playgrounds, an event area, a barbecue area, a kayak landing, a beach and parking spaces for cars.
