If external funding is obtained, the Municipality of Bolesławiec will undertake the implementation of the above-mentioned project, under which up to 100% of the costs related to the removal of asbestos products or products containing asbestos from buildings located within the city of Bolesławiec will be covered. However, these funds will not finance the costs of purchasing and installing new roofing or another building element replacing the one being removed. The owner or property user must cover these costs independently. A company selected through a request for quotations, at the expense of the Municipality of Bolesławiec, will handle the removal of asbestos from properties, its transport and disposal.
I appeal to the residents of Bolesławiec to submit the “Declaration of participation in the project involving the removal of products containing asbestos from the territory of the Municipality of Bolesławiec” by 26 January 2018, by 3:00 p.m. at the headquarters of the Municipal Housing Management Facility in Bolesławiec, ul. Dolne Młyny 23, 59-700 Bolesławiec (secretariat, Building A), or at the Customer Service Office of Bolesławiec City Hall, ul. Rynek 41 – Town Hall, 59-700 Bolesławiec (next to the Wedding Palace). The declaration will initially qualify your properties for the removal of products containing asbestos.
The declaration can be obtained at the headquarters of the Municipal Housing Management Facility in Bolesławiec at ul. Dolne Młyny 23; at the Customer Service Office of Bolesławiec City Hall; or on the www.boleslawiec.eu website.
A condition for qualification for the implementation of the above-mentioned project is that the property for which the declaration is submitted is included in the “Inventory of asbestos and products containing asbestos” prepared for the Municipality of Bolesławiec.
