Officers from the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters continue to analyze and verify every additional piece of information that could help identify the perpetrator of the murder of a taxi driver, which took place in January 2008 in Krępnica.
Let us recall. The murderer ordered a ride and traveled with the victim to the area of a reservoir, then struck the driver several times. After taking the victim’s money from his wallet, the assailant threw the 69-year-old man out of the car and drove away from the scene in his taxi.
The unconscious taxi driver, who had suffered head injuries, was found by passers-by. The man died in hospital.
The murdered 69-year-old’s vehicle was found several days later in a forest in Dobra. The car had a damaged front bumper. Investigators’ findings indicate that the perpetrator was probably a young, slim man aged 20–30.
