In December 2017, the final acceptance of the construction of the road, including lighting and drainage, near Zielona Street took place. The scope of the investment included, among other things:
- construction of a road with a bituminous surface, 423 m long
- construction of one-sided pavements made of concrete paving blocks
- installation of a stormwater drainage system for draining the roadway.
The new road is lit by 16 lamps with LED fixtures. The first stage of work related to the construction of road drainage and lighting has been completed on Kresów II RP Street. As part of the project, a stormwater drainage system was installed to drain the roadway, and 12 street lamps with LED fixtures were installed.
The second stage of the project has been planned for 2018, namely the construction of a 403.2 m-long road with an asphalt surface and a pavement on Kresów II RP Street.
The construction of road lighting on Kosiby Street (a regional road) has been completed. The road is lit by 10 lamps with LED fixtures. In December, the construction of water and sewage connections to ten undeveloped plots in the area of Zielona–Kresów II RP streets was also completed. The work was carried out by BUDROMAX from Gryfów Śląski. The investment costs PLN 1,361,887. The funds come from the budget of the city of Bolesławiec.
At the end of the year, the construction of lighting on Jagiellonów Street was also accepted. “The construction of lighting was a priority for the residents of this street. In 2018, the first stage of construction of the road on Jagiellonów Street will begin,” announces Bolesławiec Mayor Piotr Roman. The lighting was constructed under a design-and-build formula. PLN 129,000 was allocated for this purpose from the city budget. The contractor is ITINET from Zielona Góra, and the project was designed by Eco Energy Poland from Cieszyn.
The scope of the project included, among other things:
- construction of an 870 m-long cable line
- installation of 24 poles and outdoor LED lighting fixtures with an integrated RF module and motion sensor.
This type of intelligent lighting installation has also been used along the pedestrian and bicycle path from Piastów Street to the Biedronka store. This section is lit by 11 lamps. The contractor is ITINET. The project is worth PLN 85,977. The funds come from the city budget.
