The incident occurred at the intersection of Spokojna Street and Piastów Street. The Volkswagen Golf driver was travelling (probably) along Piastów Street, from the direction of the allotment gardens. The BMW driver was travelling along Spokojna Street (the road with right of way).
The cars collided at the intersection. The force of the impact was considerable. The damage to the bodywork of both cars bears this out. After the collision, the BMW crashed into the fence of a nearby property. Both men were taken to hospital. The police are investigating the cause of the collision.
