The Young Entrepreneur competition is addressed to students of upper-secondary schools from Bolesławiec County and neighboring counties.
Participation rules
Participants in the competition must submit a project for a business they would like to launch. The project should include:
- name
- legal form
- registered office
- business activity
- area of operation
- financial analysis.
Entries must be submitted anonymously in sealed envelopes bearing the school’s stamp and emblem. The following information should also be attached to the entries—in separate, similarly marked envelopes:
- the first and last name of the project author/authors
- class and school name
- the first and last name of the supervisor—the teacher of the basics of entrepreneurship.
Business plans must be sent by 16 February to:
BTG in Bolesławiec
6D Bankowa Street
59-700 Bolesławiec.
In the next stage, competition participants will present their work before a jury consisting of:
- Grzegorz Owczarkowski, BTG representative
- Henryk Guzik, BTG representative
- Tomasz Gabrysiak, representative of the Bolesławiec County Office
- Agnieszka Michnej, representative of the Employers’ Association based in Bolesławiec
- Jan Stawiany, representative of the Guild of Crafts and Small Business in Bolesławiec.
The announcement of the competition results and the awards ceremony will take place on 13 April at the Old Theatre in Bolesławiec. Prizes:
- PLN 1,000 and a statuette
- PLN 700
- PLN 400
- PLN 250
- PLN 150
What is more, the winners will receive support from the Bolesławiec Employment Office in implementing their projects. The portal and newspaper istotne.pl is the competition’s media patron.
