During a discussion about the renaming of Mariana Buczka Street to Tadka Jasińskiego Street, Deputy Head of the City Council Eugeniusz Kowalski asked where the name of 10-go Marca Street came from. “No one can explain it,” E. Kowalski added.
“Maybe that’s a good thing,” Mayor Piotr Roman concluded. He added that city officials had several theories. One was that it was two days after International Women’s Day. Or perhaps it was meant to commemorate a congress of the Polish United Workers’ Party.
“I would like to remind you that March 10 is Chuck Norris’s birthday,” added Piotr Klasa of the Local Government Platform.
