The 17th Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity is now behind us. The Bolesławiec WOŚP headquarters was established by the Via Sudetica association. This did not mean, however, that only VS members were involved in organizing this year's Orchestra Finale. The association invited, among others, Jana Trawniczek, the initiator of many cultural events in the city, who conducted the auction at Galeria Concordia wonderfully.
The following people also joined the campaign: Bożena Szymczak, the city's former treasurer (she helped count the money collected), Janina Majewska (she conducted the lottery), Bogusław Nowak (co-organizer, dressed as a Glinolud during the Finale), Paweł Apanasewicz, vice-president of Via Sudetica (the commander-in-chief at Concordia), Dorota Bernat, responsible for the café, Grzegorz Roman, who looked after the stage performances, and Krystyna Juszkiewicz, the long-time organizer of the Blues nad Bobrem festival, who this time proved excellent in the role of head of the Bolesławiec WOŚP headquarters. On Monday, we will publish the full list of people involved in organizing this year's Finale.
During Sunday's Finale, most of the activity took place at Concordia: auctions, lotteries, artistic performances and shows. The Light to the Sky was a fantastic culmination of the 17th WOŚP Finale in Bolesławiec.
The Bolesławiec headquarters collected PLN 44,076.88, EUR 25, USD 9, CZK 300, one bag of coins in convertible currencies, one bag containing in-kind deposits, and one bag of coins that are no longer in circulation.
