The incident occurred during the night of December 3–4, after 3:00 a.m., on provincial road no. 297, near Trzebień (Bolesławiec municipality). As reported on the website of the District Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Bolesławiec:
At the scene, it turned out that a passenger car had left the road and hit a tree. Firefighters immediately provided first aid to one injured person. The scene was secured and the battery disconnected. The injured person was handed over to the emergency medical team.
The police are determining the cause of the incident. Two fire service units from Bolesławiec and one from Trzebień took part in the operation.
