On November 29, at around 8:00 a.m., district officers from the Chojnów police station spotted an Opel in Pawlikowice. When he saw the uniformed officers, the driver abruptly turned into a courtyard.
The officers decided to check what had caused the Opel driver's strange behavior. It turned out that the 44-year-old resident of Chojnów municipality was drunk. (The test showed more than 1.5 per mille of alcohol in his system.) Moreover, it emerged that the man was subject to a court-imposed driving ban, which remains in force until 2020.
The 44-year-old could now face up to five years behind bars.
