As we read on the Facebook profile of Osiecznica Municipality:
We inform you that a new traffic organization has been introduced near the Municipal Office building in Osiecznica. Additionally, Allred traffic lights have been activated in the vicinity of the school. The green light switches on at a speed of 40 km/h. We inform those testing the traffic lights that our system is additionally equipped with monitoring cameras. Every crossing on a “red light” is recorded.
As part of the traffic organization, so-called dead zones (white stripes) have been introduced, where stopping is prohibited, as well as one-way traffic in front of and behind the office building. Parents picking up children from school and customers of nearby shops are informed that there is a car park in front of and behind the office, where they can leave their cars without exposing themselves to danger or a fine.
Municipal officials add:
There have been cases of cars stopping in front of the school entrance, on a pedestrian crossing, putting not only the driver but also other road users at risk. We appeal to you to spend a few minutes to ensure your own safety and that of your loved ones.
A good solution? We invite you to discuss it.
