At the charity Boxing Gala held on Sunday, November 26, in Lwówek Śląski, Piotr Motyka from TOP Boks Bolesławiec took part. He was trained by Ryszard and Tomasz Tomczyk. In his 15th bout, our boxer defeated Kornel Siemaszko of Żary, and also won the Mayor of the Lwówek Śląski Municipality and Town Cup in the senior category.
Congratulations. During the gala, there was also a cake sale and auctions to support Hubert from Lwówek, who suffered a serious accident in Bolesławiec.
We have reported on the matter several times. In the first half of November, Majka, a friend of Hubert, a resident of Lwówek County who, in August this year, while carrying out construction work on Jagiellonów Street in Bolesławiec, severed his carotid artery with an angle grinder, asked us to publish an appeal from the injured man's mother. (We present the appeal below.) “This boy must come back to us!” says Ms Majka.

My name is Marzena Łoza, and I live in Kotliska near Lwówek Śląski. I am the mother of six children, [...] one of whom is disabled. In August this year, a tremendous tragedy befell my family. My eldest son, Hubert Targoński, aged 21, suffered a workplace accident while cutting concrete with an angle grinder. During the cutting, the disc broke and severed the arteries of the carotid artery on the right side, causing him to lose consciousness and be taken to hospital.
Hubert has been in the intensive care unit since August 24, 2017, until the present day. My son's condition is serious; after the accident, he was in a coma. Hubert is now conscious, but due to extensive complications, he has no contact with Him.
Hubert urgently needs intensive rehabilitation for partial independent functioning, as well as medical care. We are currently trying to raise funds to cover the costs at the Functional Rehabilitation Center Clinic, where he will receive specialist care. The treatment and rehabilitation costs are very high and far exceed our financial capabilities.
Therefore, I am asking very much for financial support for my child. Every zloty is a HUGE SUPPORT FOR HUBERT AND IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT. Thank you in advance for your help.
