The final of the Regional Police Knowledge Competition “Safer Together” took place on 24 November in Kamienna Góra. Eight two-person teams from Kamienna Góra, Mysłakowice, Jelenia Góra and Bolesławiec took part in the competition.

The team from the Construction School Complex – Voluntary Labour Corps in Bolesławiec took third place. What is more, Marcin Keler, who received the highest number of points in the theoretical section, was given an individual award.

The competition, organized by the Lower Silesian Voivodeship OHP Headquarters, the Voivodeship Police Headquarters in Wrocław and the 1-10 Voluntary Labour Corps in Kamienna Góra, was held at the Kamienna Góra Weaving Museum. The final was attended by, among others, representatives of the Voivodeship Police Headquarters and the Voivodeship OHP Headquarters.

The organizers prepared several attractions for the participants. The young people could visit the Weaving Museum and take part in activities with a forensic technician from the Municipal Police Headquarters in Jelenia Góra.

– Police officers from the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters made a tremendous contribution to the students’ success: Senior Asp. Beata Łuczkowska, Senior Asp. Anna Kublik-Rościszewska and Senior Asp. Mariusz Białowąs. By sharing their knowledge and experience, they prepared the students for the competition professionally and with great commitment – says Małgorzata Madej, a teacher at the Bolesławiec V​​LC. – In addition, the winning young people will receive prizes funded by the Bolesławiec County Board.
