– “The main aim of the ‘Autumn Impressions’ exhibition was to show that photography is not only documentation, but also sensitivity, creativity, and a sense of aesthetics and beauty,” say the event organizers. “Each of the student creators sees and experiences the golden Polish autumn differently, which is why the exhibition is so diverse in terms of subject matter.”
The students had previously presented their work on social media, in the local press and on websites, but this was the first time they had encountered a live audience. The young creators hope that no one will pass indifferently by their images of the beautiful Polish autumn, enchanted in photography.
The students were helped to express themselves by their vocational teachers: Grzegorz Matoryn, a well-known Bolesławiec photographer, and MA Ewa Cierniak. The vernissage was honoured by the presence of Bolesławiec Deputy Mayor Kornel Filipowicz. The beautiful musical accompaniment was provided by Aleksander Samostrokow and Jan Roman from the Music School in Bolesławiec.
The exhibition can be viewed in the foyer of Zespół Szkół Handlowych i Usługowych until 10 December.
