On 22 November this year, the Supreme Court dismissed in its entirety—as obviously unfounded—the cassation appeal filed by the defense of the convicted Samuel Nowakowski against the judgment of the Wrocław Court of Appeal in the case concerning the murder of a 10-year-old girl, which took place in August 2015 in Kamienna Góra.

In October last year, the Court of Appeal sentenced Nowakowski to life imprisonment, stipulating that the murderer would be eligible to apply for conditional early release only after serving 35 years of his sentence.

We wrote about the case in detail in the article: He killed a 10-year-old with an axe. He wanted an acquittal, but received a life sentence.
