– This Sunday, November 26, a Boxing Gala will be held in Lwówek Śląski, during which cakes will be sold. The proceeds will be used for the rehabilitation and treatment of Hubert – says Paweł Wójtowicz, a community activist from Lwówek Śląski, member of the “Ciche Anioły” Social Committee and organizer of the cake sale.
The gala and sale will take place in the sports hall at Primary School No. 2 in Lwówek Śląski (al. Wojska Polskiego). It starts at 12:00.
We have reported on the matter several times. In the first half of November, Majka, a friend of Hubert, a resident of Lwówek County who, in August this year, while carrying out construction work on Jagiellonów Street in Bolesławiec, severed his carotid artery with an angle grinder, asked us to share an appeal from the injured man's mother. (We present the appeal below.) – This boy must come back to us! – says Ms. Majka.
Let’s help Hubert!!!
My name is Marzena Łoza, and I live in Kotliska near Lwówek Śląski. I am the mother of six children, [...] one of whom has a disability. In August this year, my family experienced a tremendous tragedy. My eldest son, Hubert Targoński, aged 21, suffered an accident at work while cutting concrete with an angle grinder. During the cutting, the disc broke and severed the arteries in the right side of his neck, causing him to lose consciousness and be taken to hospital.
Hubert has been in the ICU since August 24, 2017, to the present day. My son’s condition is serious; after the accident, he was in a coma. Hubert is now conscious, but due to extensive complications, he is not in contact with us.
Hubert urgently needs intensive rehabilitation to achieve partial independence, as well as medical care. We are currently trying to raise funds to cover the costs at the Functional Rehabilitation Center Clinic, where he will receive specialist care. The treatment and rehabilitation costs are very high and far exceed our financial means.
Therefore, I am asking very much for financial support for my child. Every złoty is HUGE SUPPORT FOR HUBERT AND IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT. Thank you in advance for your help.
